A heavy-shrug Lenny variant. Same ¯_ and _/¯ shrug-arm structure. Inside, ͠° and °͠ are eyes with combining-tilde accents on the eyebrows (Lenny-style raised-eyebrow but with the brow visibly arched into the tilde-curve). ͟ʖ in the middle is a Lenny smirk-mouth with a combining-low-line under it — adding a slight beard or chin-shadow texture.
This version of the Lenny shrug feels heavier than the standard one — the eyebrows are more deeply arched, the mouth has more shadow underneath. It reads as someone shrugging with extra “don’t even ask” energy. The combining diacritics give it a textured, almost cursed quality.
Use it for shrugs that carry a little more weight: replies about complicated drama you don’t want to engage with, “who knows, who cares” reactions, dismissive-but-funny tweets. On Discord it works as a tired shrug to inside-baseball questions. On Twitter/X it suits quote-tweets of confusing controversies. On Reddit it lands in comments where you want to opt out of explaining. The heavier eyebrows convey that you have considered the situation and concluded shrug.
In Japanese this maps to どうでもいい (dō demo ii — whatever, doesn’t matter). Pair this kaomoji with phrases like しらん (‘shiran’ — don’t know, casual), いみわからん (‘imi wakaran’ — “meaning unclear”), or ほっとけ (‘hottoke’ — “leave it alone”).
